The cloakroom

Visitors quickly realise that they are not in a traditional museum but a house turned into a museum: nothing has changed since the departure of the owners, whose spirit lives on.

The décor, carefully designed by the most renowned artists and interior designers of the time, is a masterful illustration of what Art Deco did best. The Van Buurens did not commission just one decorator, whatever their reputation, thus distinguishing themselves from other wealthy clients of the time.
