The vestibule

Once across the threshold, the Dutch feel of the exterior architecture disappears, giving way to the typically French character of the interior. The Brazilian rosewood door and its stained glass window by Jaap Gidding (1887-1955) are echoed in the two French doors leading to the large hall. The floor is covered in black and white Carrara marble. The radiator cover, also made from marble, with its central geometrically-inspired sculpted bronze motif, was created by Studio Dominique.
