Pol Bury

2009

The Bury fountains, shining with all the heat of their polished steel, recall the funny, incongruous and poetic magician that was the sculptor who frequented both Surrealism and the CoBrA group. These monumental pieces play with water, making it flow through the spheres of steel, split like piggy banks or smiling faces. It all moves slowly but surely and unexpectedly, laughing at the visitor’s perplexity.
